Why do students choose Indigo?

Once again a big Thank You to you for guiding Cherie! She got straight As - in GP and 4 H2. Thank you again. Her sister Cheryl (also your student previously from RI) is in UK now and we will break the news to her. Really appreciate your help! Both my daughters Cheryl and Cherie took GP enrichment in your school. I am overseas right now and will catch up with you in Singapore when I'm back to personally thank you and your team members. Do let other parents know the trust and support you have given to us so generously! Thank you so much!!

Joining Making Sense is easily one of the best decisions I have ever made in my life. I was blown away in that one lesson by the ease in which the teacher helped us to realise concepts, link topics together and remember things.

Felix Tseng

DHS, J2 H2 Chemistry

My Economics grades stagnated at a D for 3 consecutive exams before I finally decided to join Indigo. That is when my grades improved. What I really appreciate about the programme is the fact that we are pushed to analyze and dissect every single question and aim for a L3 and E2 answer.

The Economics examples and articles shared were also very current and helps me to stay up to date on the latest economic affairs. This helped me to see the relevance in the JC Econs syllabus and developed my passion further in this area.

Most importantly, the teachers are clear, concise and effective in delivery.

RI, J2 H2 Economics

Mr Ueng is a very patient teacher who is willing to stay behind after class to clarify our doubts. He is extremely dedicated and engaging. He can break down complex economic terms and concepts such that they are more palatable to students that struggle with the terminologies. Thanks to him, I managed to score an A for my H1 economics:)

The teachers are extremely approachable and helpful. After joining Indigo, I have seen a tremendous boost in my grades, from D7 to A2 in school exams. Thank you to all my tutors who have taught me so well and helped me improve and gain confidence in the English language.

Sek Ming Qian

School of Science and Technology

The lessons and materials are very clear and well-structured, hence clearing my conceptual gaps and misunderstandings. The tutors are, needless to say, fantastic as well! It has indeed been fruitful attending Indigo's classes.

Hu Jie Lin Jacqueline

Nanyang Girls' High School Indigo

I was not doing very well in Chemistry before joining Making Sense. I would often get Cs for chemistry. However, upon joining Making Sense, I noticed marked improvements in my Chemistry grades. The tutors are really amazing and their patience ensures no one in the classroom gets left behind. They have genuinely helped me a lot - I understood Chemistry a lot more and I even began enjoying learning the subject.

St Joseph's Institution

I was a private candidate and joined Indigo's GP classes at Bukit Timah in 2020. I just wanted to say thank you for your guidance and tips for GP, they were really useful during the A-Level examinations and I managed to get an A for GP and a total of 87.5 RP.

I personally did a more general question for my Paper 1 (Q5) which requires knowledge across all topics, which I feel Indigo really equipped me with! We have gone through general essay questions multiple times in class so it was a rather "low bars to entry" and kind of question as opposed to more popular questions like the one that came out on media and free societies, which many students in my school who memorise examples and stats for essays tend to bank on (I would say around half my class did that question)
As for paper 2, I think going through more non-conventional topics for AQ every other week really helped me to stay calm and brainstorm examples and apply them! Not to mention, doing SAQs and summary practices in class helped to build up my momentum such that I could accomplish on time with ease :)

Indigo provides really concise and informative GP notes that helped me expand my horizons. Mr Lim was especially passionate and energetic when it comes to teaching GP which made learning about current affairs and GP skills all the more interesting! I would highly recommend attending lessons at Indigo as they helped me improve my GP from a D to an A within a few months :) Thank you Mr Lim for your help!
