O-Level English Oral Examinations

(2024 Topics and questions revealed!)

O-lvl oral

How prepared were Indigo’s O-level students?

The O-Level English Oral Examinations cover various topics designed to test students’ ability to think critically and communicate effectively. This year (2024), our students were exceptionally well-prepared, thanks to our comprehensive preparation program.

For the three weeks before the oral exams, we focused on relevant topics and themes, ensuring our students had the necessary knowledge and skills. Even if students encountered unfamiliar topics, the thinking structures we taught them allowed them to formulate excellent responses confidently.

Importance of Early Preparation

Many students mistakenly believe that the O-Level exams only begin in October. In reality, the English Oral Examinations take place in July, accounting for 20% of your overall English score. This 20% could make a 2 point difference in your O-level grades. Early and consistent preparation is crucial to securing a good grade.

Did you know the Current Affairs segment is a vital segment part of Indigo’s English lessons? This segment lays a strong foundation for critical thinking skills and provides essential content knowledge for both oral exams and argumentative essays.
