DURING THE EXAMS
Exam stress is one of the most common experience among students, as students feel the need to get good results and have the fear of failure. Parents can usually observe stress in them through anxiety, difficulty concentrating, and even some physical symptoms like headaches or fatigue. Little stress can be motivating but with too much stress, it will have a negative cause on the students’ performance and their well-being. It is important for the students to learn how to manage their stress. Here are some techniques to relief stress.
- Practice Deep Breathing: Slow, deep breaths can calm your nervous system and reduce anxiety.
- Stay Organised: Keep track of exam schedules, materials, and study plans. Knowing you’re prepared can alleviate stress.
- Take Regular Breaks: Short, frequent breaks during study sessions help keep your mind fresh and prevent burnout.
- Get Enough Sleep: Aim for at least 7-8 hours of sleep to ensure your brain functions optimally during exams.
- Eat Healthy Snacks: Opt for brain-boosting snacks like nuts, fruits, or dark chocolate to maintain energy and focus.
