Starting a new academic level requires wider skills to manage additional subjects or learn broader content. To develop confidence for your Streaming year, Term 4 is focused on review, consolidation and laying strong foundations to start ahead.

Lower Sec Science (S1 EXP AY2021) - Non Regular Class Slots

We will be working closely with your child on the various disciplines and key concepts that are fundamental to succeed in Secondary 2 Science. Term 4 will also help you discover and learn Chemistry in a unique light through skill-based answering techniques, to effectively prepare you for streaming.

You will only need to attend 3 lessons from 6 - 21 Nov. Please choose Option 1 or Option 2.

  • Lesson 2: Sat, 13 Nov, 9.15am - 1.15pm

  • Lesson 1: Sun,7 Nov, 11.30am - 3.30pm
  • Lesson 2: Sun, 14 Nov, 11.30am - 3.30pm
  • Lesson 3: Sun, 21 Nov, 11.30am - 3.30pm

Lesson 1 - Forces and Work Done (Intro to basic concepts and calculations using formula)

Lesson 2 - Atomic Structure and Intro to Chemical Bonding (ionic/simple covalent and giant covalent structure)

Lesson 3 - Chemical Changes and Acids & Alkalis (Physical properties of acid and reactions)
