Congratulations - you are moving up to Upper Secondary! Starting Upper Secondary requires wider skills to manage additional subjects or learn broader content. To approach a new academic year with confidence, Term 4 is focused on review, consolidation and laying strong foundations to start ahead.
Next year, as an Upper Secondary English student, you will need to have a wider portfolio of comprehension and answering skills to to meet the demands of O-Level syllabus. During Term 4, we will be working closely with students to deepen critical reading and viewing skills to process longer, more complex texts.

The Sec 3 EXP Math syllabus presents deeper content at a faster speed - over 60% of O-level content is taught in Sec 3. To pace yourself for the demands of O-Level syllabus, tutors will be reviewing key Sec 3 topics as well as guide you in the direction of new topics.

Year 3 students will face a dip in their grades if they continue to use the same methods from their lower secondary years. Schools also typically focus on teaching content and may miss out honing your application-skills required for Upper Sec Chemistry.
